Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LTBP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LTBP3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LTBP3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LTBP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where LTBP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
