Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LTBP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LTBP1 data layer compared with 12 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher LTBP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LTBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and ESCA show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRP, and BLCA are the cancer types where LTBP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
