Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LSM5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LSM5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher LSM5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LSM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where LSM5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
