Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LSM2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LSM2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher LSM2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LSM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, COAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where LSM2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
