Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRN4CL RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 16 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRN4CL’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where LRRN4CL RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRN4CL is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, THCA, and COAD are the cancer types where LRRN4CL tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
