Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRK2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRK2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LRRK2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where LRRK2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
