Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC8D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC8D data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LRRC8D Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC8D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where LRRC8D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
