Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC74A RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC74A’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LRRC74A RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC74A is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, LUSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where LRRC74A tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
