Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC53 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LRRC53 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher LRRC53 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC53 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and STAD show a favorable association.

THCA, DLBC, and ACC are the cancer types where LRRC53 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
