Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC42 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC42 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher LRRC42 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC42 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where LRRC42 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
