Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC3B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC3B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where LRRC3B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC3B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where LRRC3B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
