Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC37A2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 31 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LRRC37A2 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher LRRC37A2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC37A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRC, KICH, and KIRP are the cancer types where LRRC37A2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
