Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC37A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC37A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher LRRC37A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC37A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where LRRC37A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
