Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRRC10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LRRC10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRRC10 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC, KIRP, and HNSC are the cancer types where LRRC10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
