Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRRC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LRRC1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher LRRC1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LRRC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where LRRC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
