Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LRP11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 17 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LRP11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where LRP11 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LRP11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where LRP11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
