LPP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LPP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 15 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LPP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LPP RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LPP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where LPP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
