Across TCGA patient cohorts, LPO protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 804 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LPO-associated genes across cancer lineages are POU2AF1, PNOC, and IFNG-AS1. Each is linked with LPO in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LPO-to-partner and partner-to-LPO results are reported.
