Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LPCAT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LPCAT3 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher LPCAT3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LPCAT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC show a favorable association.
STAD, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where LPCAT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
