Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LPCAT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LPCAT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LPCAT1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LPCAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BRCA, and STAD are the cancer types where LPCAT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
