Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LPA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LPA data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher LPA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LPA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.

UCS, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where LPA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
