Across TCGA patient cohorts, LPA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,921 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are PTGS2, FCAR, and MEDAG. Each is linked with LPA in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LPA-to-partner and partner-to-LPA results are reported.
