Across TCGA patient cohorts, LPA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,812 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are COX7A2, PBK, and DTYMK. Each is linked with LPA in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LPA-to-partner and partner-to-LPA results are reported.
