Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LOXL1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LOXL1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher LOXL1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LOXL1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and BLCA show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where LOXL1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
