Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LMX1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LMX1B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher LMX1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LMX1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where LMX1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
