Across TCGA patient cohorts, LMX1B protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,576 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LMX1B-associated genes across cancer lineages are SEC14L2, SPECC1L, and PPIL2. Each is linked with LMX1B in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LMX1B-to-partner and partner-to-LMX1B results are reported.
