Across TCGA patient cohorts, LMX1B mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LMX1B-associated genes across cancer lineages are Smad1, 14-3-3_beta, and p70-S6K. Each is linked with LMX1B in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LMX1B-to-partner and partner-to-LMX1B results are reported.
