Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LMNA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LMNA data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LMNA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LMNA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, PRAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where LMNA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
