Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIPT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIPT2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher LIPT2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIPT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC and UCEC are the cancer types where LIPT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
