Across TCGA patient cohorts, LIPT1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,782 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LIPT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are TMEM164, ARID3A, and DDX39A. Each is linked with LIPT1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LIPT1-to-partner and partner-to-LIPT1 results are reported.
