Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIPE-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LIPE-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher LIPE-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIPE-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CESC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where LIPE-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
