Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02842 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02842’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LINC02842 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02842 is over-expressed in tumor.

LUAD, BRCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where LINC02842 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
