LINC02805

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02805 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02805’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LINC02805 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02805 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, THCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where LINC02805 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
