Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02708 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02708’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where LINC02708 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02708 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and CHOL show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BLCA, CHOL, and LIHC are the cancer types where LINC02708 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
