Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02612 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02612’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where LINC02612 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02612 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as CHOL and LIHC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRP, CHOL, and LIHC are the cancer types where LINC02612 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
