Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02563 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02563’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where LINC02563 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02563 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, THCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where LINC02563 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
