Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02554 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02554’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LINC02554 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02554 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where LINC02554 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
