LINC02489

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02489 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02489’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LINC02489 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02489 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, BLCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where LINC02489 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
