Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02484 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02484’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LINC02484 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02484 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, KICH, and CHOL are the cancer types where LINC02484 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
