LINC02440

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02440 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02440’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where LINC02440 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02440 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as READ and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

READ and KIRC are the cancer types where LINC02440 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
