Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02430 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02430’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LINC02430 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02430 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, COAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where LINC02430 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
