Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02411 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02411’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where LINC02411 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02411 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PRAD and ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PRAD, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where LINC02411 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
