Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02403 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02403’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where LINC02403 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02403 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as HNSC and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUSC, HNSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where LINC02403 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
