Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02267 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02267’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where LINC02267 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02267 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where LINC02267 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
