Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02211 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02211’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where LINC02211 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02211 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, KIRC, and PAAD are the cancer types where LINC02211 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
