Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02127 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02127’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where LINC02127 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02127 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and CHOL show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where LINC02127 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
