Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02106 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02106’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where LINC02106 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02106 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, THCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where LINC02106 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
