Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02090 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02090’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where LINC02090 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02090 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, STAD, and COAD are the cancer types where LINC02090 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
