Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02042 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC02042 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher LINC02042 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC02042 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and MESO show a favorable association.
KICH, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where LINC02042 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
