Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01856 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC01856 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher LINC01856 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC01856 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and BLCA show a favorable association.

BRCA, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where LINC01856 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
